ANN ANSCOMBE RAISES £1200!

Ann held a BBQ in aid of ICT to help towards raising funds for Cycle Kenya. Here is what she had to say:

"The evening was a great success, not least because of the wonderful weather we had that day. My family and helpers entertained about 70 guests to a BBQ with salads and pudding. We also had a beer tent and cake stall with teas. My son and his fiancé provided the music and other stalls included Fair Trade and Indian Head Massage. Rather than make a speech about ICT to the assembled guests I handed out quiz sheets for them to complete during the afternoon with questions about the work of ICT (information could be found posted around the house and garden) along with other questions designed to get everyone mingling and asking questions. All went very well with requests to repeat the event next year. It was a really fun way to raise money."
